FALL WORKS 2026: Season of Giving
November 28-29, 2026
Richard E. Wildish Community Theatre in Springfield
A 2-show weekend celebrating dance, community, and the people who make our work possible.
Dress to impress on Saturday, Nov. 28th at 6 pm for The Giving Gala, a special performance and fundraising event in support of Fermata Ballet Collective’s 2026–27 season. Gala admission sustains our artists, programs, and ongoing work throughout the year. We offer tickets at a sliding scale starting at $15-40 for general admission to make this event accessible, or boost your experience by selecting from one of our tiered ticket packages. We invite you into our community for an immersive evening celebrating our renowned 2026 works, featuring a local DJ, light refreshments, prize baskets, a discussion on musical collaboration, and post-performance connection on the dance floor. For questions about ticket pricing, contact us at info@fermataballetcollective.com.
On Sunday, Nov. 29th check out our matinee at 1 pm. We invite Friends, Fam, & Fermata, a community-focused matinee show designed to make the work more accessible and expand our reach with sliding-scale admission. Audiences of all ages may gather at the Wildish Theatre to experience dance, connect with local artists, converse in a Q & A, and celebrate the community that is the foundation of Fermata.
Across the weekend, Fall Works 2026 highlights finished and in-process works by local choreographers, dancers, and composers, celebrating the artistry of collaboration and experimentation. From unfolding ideas to fully realized choreography, the works by FBC resident artists and guest collaborators explore the ways our individual and collective experiences shape the art we make. Together, the weekend reflects our Collective’s commitment to creating spaces where artists and audiences can gather, thrive, exchange ideas, and experience dance.
